Since Wolf Online 2 is under developement, it's time to show some progress, right?
Let's say I'll post some pictures of the current stuff we got. Since this topic is being
updated from now on, please refrain from posting here.

You always can open a new topic about it though Smile

The Wolf

Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art Output10

The only playable race ingame (who would've guessed?). Wolves live in packs, of which 5 will be available in
single player mode. On multiplayer mode, custom packs are planned. Also, wolves will be able to mate with
coyotes, resulting in further coyotes once the pups grow up. The character comes with full social animations
and the player will be able to use them at will.

Wolves can eat berries, small animals and bigger prey as well as fish (so, basically, everything that's not flying away in time).
The only natural enemies of the wolves will be bobcats, bears and smilodons (you can't talk me out
of implementing some sort of tiger Very Happy)

Pups are still being animated right now.

The Coyote

Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art Cute_x10

Just in case you wonder; this isn't WolfQuest's Coyote.
It just happens to resemble it a big deal. Don't believe me? Suspect

Coyotes are carcass eating critters of annoying nature. Whenever you kill prey, they will come close and
only flee if you target them. They aren't playable, but wolves can mate with them, resulting in coywolves,
which will behave like coyotes though. Or grow into adult wolves and join the pack, we'll see ;D

Other predators will target them on sight though.

The Moose

Male / Female / Young

Prey by default, can turn on the predator when cornered though. Also, males with a herd
will attack wolves and bobcats when they or their herd are targetted. They eat plants.

The Elk / Wapiti

Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art Lookat10

As the moose, elk are herbivore prey. Unlike them though they live in pretty large herds and the
male won't defend his females but lead them to safety instead. And no, those aren't from WQ either.
Not. At. All.

(p.s.: Beats me why the male is smaller than the female here.. gotta fix that)

The Fox

Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art Output21Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art Output22

Foxes are the coyotes of the forest. Except they can't mate with wolves of course. But they too eat from carcasses they find, hunt small critters as mice, they also like berries. When confronted they will flee or defend their offspring, depending on where you attack them.

WOLF's outdated graphics combined with custom 3d meshes.
This can't go well...

Right?

Meet 'n' greet: Concept Art No_wor10

The tree is from WOLF. The wolf was textured by Ms Miller.

EDIT: Updated textures of elk and coyote
