| There we go. Finally, a nice prototype showing our current camera. Next time, npcs and water will be added (too instable yet to offer it as a technical demo). Things you'll find in this demo: - Animations - Current Mapping style - Camera Movement - A lot of bugs. Enjoy! Click here to download | |

| xD make sure to keep the cursor centered. You control the direction with it after all! | |

| Yes. It sort of points where my mouse is, but it's unpredictable. | |

| Erm, I still don't get it. It does exactly what it's supposed to do! But okay, I'll make sure to improve that mechanism for the next version. Until then, pressing W might help a bit in understanding the navigation. Thanks for posting the video | |

| No problem. :3 The problem was that instead of pointing towards the mouse, it spins in the direction of the mouse. | |

| That's not a bug, it's a feature! Joke aside, would it be better if it actually followed the mouse direction? | |

XD Very true. And it doesn't have to directly follow the mouse, I just think it needs to be a little/lot less sensitive. I think I see where you're going with this: instead of immediate turning, the wolf leans in the direction you want them to go, which is ideal. However, with how it is now, it would look like a bunch of drunk wolves running in infinite circles around the map, unable to regain balance.

| I like how you are heading the game towards.. but there are some problems I see(as a gamer myself)... the side view and all that is confusing now if it was like WQ where it is more of a top down behind view(what almost all games are like) it would be pretty good but I don't know what you guys want and if you want that to be in the game just a suggestion.... also a small tutorial would be nice... just something to tell people how to control their wolf...
Thanks ShadowWulf | |

| Hey there, ShadowWulf
Well, the side-view is a homage to WOLF. It's planned to fix up all camera views so they can be switched at all times (follower cam from behind, top-down view, side-view, Legacy-Mode as seen in WOLF, don't know if free cam will work but we'll see about that). Keep in mind that Alpha version is somewhat outdated already and the next alpha isn't quite ready for testing yet (buggy all over the place).
Yes, a tutorial is planned as well, along with a story mode. Probably mother wolf telling you how to survive or something.

| Ok yeah i didn't know what you guys are doing but I like how you guys are planning to be able to have different views on controlling the wolf..... it sounds more interesting than WQ just the alpha that you guys have now... | |

| Hehe thanks. WQ will suffer a terrible post-mortem defeat once WO is playable. May the ravens eat WolfQuest's remains once we're done | |

| After all they'll probably still won't have several kinds of prey, a lovely ecosystem which reacts to the player's behavior, a working day-night cycle with changing weather and true multiplayer gaming.
Getting the vibe you're someone skilled. What're you trained at?
