[RESEARCH/SUPPORT] Feeding pups glitch (not how to do it)

Note: Same pups mentioned in "Help! Fast!"


So, I was having lots of trouble spawning & finding carcass's.. I did the carcass glitch 2 times to no avail, so I found a weak caribou, chased it to my den and killed it there. I checked my pup's status and they where almost (not quite) half-empty on thier stomach. So I tore a piece of meat off the caribou, also feeding myself, and gave it to them.
The screen for feeding pups came up, but something really wierd happened.
There was only one pup! This frightened me at first so much I fastforwarded to see where the other one was..
Not even NOTICING the pup was BROWN...
I am light grey, my mate is dark grey. My female pup is dark grey like her father and my male pup is light grey like me, After I exitted the feeding pups screen I then realized the pup was brown. After checking both my pups, They where ok.. And I was relieved. But.. I was kind've startled. When I fed the mysterious brown pup, both my pups got thier bellies filled.
But I'm still a bit startled..

Who was the mysterious brown pup?

Are you sure you only got two pups..?
By the way, the parents' furcolors are not important to the game. Two white wolves could get a completely black pup for example.

I've had the pups for two months, I'm pretty sure if I'de had 3 I would've noticed by now. And I'm pretty sure my pups furcolors are black and grey.

O.O Creepy....maybe it was a lone pup, just really hungry. Then when it got it's fill, it ran away because it was scared XD

I get the brown pup a lot too, but it's always one of my pups with the brown pup.. It's like it replaced one of my pups. Then it's back to normal when I leave the breeding screen.
