So, I'm playing with Bob and I've been attacking another male for almost an hour now, he's limping but that's all. This is my first time playing the game and I have no idea how to do this.

Try mating with the lionesses in the pride.

I can't mate with them and they still follow the other male.

Hm, beat the male once and let him walk off.
Turn around and check each lioness. Try to mate with them if you can.

I manged to mate with one lioness but only twice and the male still sticks around and are they supposed to follow you if you take over the pride? Because they aren't.

I cannot say for sure, seeing I haven't played as Bob and done taking over a pride.
