strange cubs?!

ok I was playing Lion, and all of a sudden a little cub came up to Bob, I was playing Zulu and I thought "hey since Zulu isnt having luck on mating she could adopt!" Then the next morning a second cub came! im like "odd..." I knew two lions came so I'm thinking they belong to them, and I ran into another pride but those cubs keep following me, and they arent even mine! will those cubs stay with me? or will they soon go back? oh plus if my pride goes off a little ways Bob will wait for them to catch up! or Hercules will wait for them! how long will I get to baby sit the cubs?

when I saw cub #1 it was across the river and my pride was several miles from the river, same with cub #2, and im on day 39, so there is no way I couldve had those cubs, yes I got to mate with Mau Mau 18 times I still have to wait 110 days. Oh plus a small pride came by and those cubs came the oppisite direction the small pride came, so im guessing thats their cubs, but that pride comes to my pride and the cubs dont follow the other pride, they just follow my pride, and everyone acts like they belong. That's weird.

This happened to me tooo- I got a pride with Bob/Mau Mau and killed bob off (Didn't want him xD) and suddenly two lonely little lost cubs. They're following me and my *adopted* pride (I follow them, the cubs follow me. xD Makes eating/mating easier) and I didn't mate once before I got them, its rather strange.
