The Plains

The alpha female sat on a hill, her eyes scanned the fields looking for two things food, and pack mates. Lucan found the alpha female Belle, he trotted up to her "Belle! Belle! we are going to have fun today! we are going on an adventure! yeah an adventure!" he said as he sat next to her wagging his tail, "ugh why dont you bother Centaurus?" Belle asked, "because he is serious!" Lucan complained. Belle trotted off smelling the scent of food, and Lucan followed, Aurora found the two, she ran towards them, "Hey Belle! let's go on an adventure!" she said playfully pawing at Belle, "ugh not you too..." she said rolling her eyes at her beta, Lucan wagged his tail at Aurora and she pounced Lucan and they chased each other, "Wow" Belle said as she saw the two in the distance, she shook her head and went to the carcass, she ate then went to find Centaurus. Belle saw stacks and stacks of hay, she saw some trees leaning because of the plain's wind had nearly broken their trunk, she spotted bison, but once they spotted her they circled making it impossible to hunt if she was interested in hunting them. Belle saw Centaurus in the distance, she pushed herself to a faster trot, and she followed him, the sky grew darker, the temperature dropped, and the moon came up, and Belle and Centaurus slept very close together, the omega and the beta came and fell asleep aswell. The next morning Belle reached nine months, Centaurus and Belle mated. Belle took her own routes but would join the pack when it was time to hunt, and Centaurus always welcomed her, since he had a soft spot for her. The moon changed every week, and when Belle became eleven months she stayed at the den, cleaning it, and getting it prepared for when the pups arrive. Every once and awhile the pack comes to the den to check up on Belle, and she would be surprised to see Lucan, since he was an old wolf. The sun came and barely peaked over the hills as Belle ran to the den, she went inside and had three beautiful pups. The first pup was named Owl Feathers, and he was a dark grey pup, the second pup was named Desert Rose, and she was completly white, the third pup was named Thorn, and he was brown like his mother. The pack visited the newborn pups since they were on their way to the pond, and Centaurus wanted to see Belle. Belle was shocked to see Lucan since he was now eight years old, Aurora and Lucan loved playing with the pups, and Centaurus was proud to be the father of three healthy, strong pups. Belle loved her pack, she even loved Lucan, Aurora, and Centaurus, because they annoy her in their unique way. But her life wouldnt be complete without them.
