| That'd be pretty, wouldn't it? Bright pink humans without faces roaming around everywhere, shooting whatever they see.. Well, not so pretty after all | |

| We don't? Oh right, then maybe we shouldn't include planes either.. On the other hand, traumatized players don't get into these things to shoot innocent animals from above, right? | |

| xD You just have to look a little harder. It's definitely showing up. There's no way this could be bugged. | |

| "January 09, 2015 + A first timer: Bug turned to feature. Mouse controls are only applied if right or left button is pressed. + New Water system, supporting rivers. ~ Trying to build a nice looking world. Suggestions? ~ Wondering why people murder each other in the name of The One who forbid it in the first place.." Thanks for all your hard work! For building a nice looking world, are you looking for assets or references? I've come across a couple free assets that I really enjoy ground textures that I really like https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/13001(I haven't tried this yet, but the snow and rain look fantastic!) https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/11158(I haven't used this one either but it looks so good!) https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/19288If you meant reference/suggestions I guess you could try having a couple different focal points for the map and making it extremely detailed and then having less detailed, more repetitive areas the further you move from it. Eventually it would bump into the detail area of a different focal point and the overlap can have a scene of interest as well. Having areas of interest and random variety (a cave in a rocky outcropping, a plataue which can serve as a vantage point, a log over a river, or a sudden glade in an otherwise dense forest could be fun!) http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://espacepourlavie.ca/sites/espacepourlavie.ca/files/styles/nocrop-gr8/public/map-laurentian-maple-forest.jpg%253Fitok%253D0TaJubbx&imgrefurl=http://espacepourlavie.ca/en/ecosystems/laurentian-maple-forest&h=401&w=620&tbnid=zKIPWj_sSA61GM:&zoom=1&docid=zsk-d5zXWcs0oM&ei=ATe4VPq3DoSNNr_mgbAB&tbm=isch&ved=0CBsQMygTMBM4ZAhttp://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://newswatch.nationalgeographic.com/files/2013/12/wetlands-1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://voices.nationalgeographic.com/2013/12/23/canadas-boreal-forests-now-cold-dark-and-in-need-of-our-care/&h=1600&w=2560&tbnid=VfrWT0iIWxuRJM:&zoom=1&docid=OyryJNUCO-Ym6M&ei=jzW4VKC1IsirggSouYEY&tbm=isch&ved=0CHEQMyhGMEYLastly, I can't understand it either. It just helps me to know that some people love and do amazing in their deity's name as well, and there will always be more of them than the other kind. Â Also--please let me know if I can help out! I've been wanting to challenge myself and need to practice modeling, texturing, and animating http://runningglade.deviantart.com/gallery/Thank you and good luck! | |

- Thanks for the assets There are even better ground textures if one asks google. But these aren't shabby either D: Elementals is EPIC. No, really, awesome stuff! Gonna try implementing that! Loving the rocks, there's just a catch to it. Unity refuses to load them (we've got a slightly outdated version, about 4.0) - RunningGlade wrote:

| :3 Nope. Doing this with Glade and SunsetCoyote. I'm doing the coding and some concepting, Glade does the map(s), SunsetCoyote does Textures and menu design. | |

Is there a specific date your aiming for(after the game is finished)?

| Nope.. Release Dates are bad luck. Stuff is bound to happen once you say 'we'll release it then and then' ... [Like.. harddrive failures, cooked cpu, a bad virus, accidental deletion..] | |

| I'm glad to see that WolfOnline is still being worked on I looked at a screenshot in the changelog and I was stunned at how cool the graphics look I originally didn't like the idea of WolfOnline being 3d but it still looks like it has that old "WOLF" feel to it. Didn't I hear somewhere that WolfOnline was available for beta testing? I saw a download link in the change log but it was broken :/ Where could I find the latest updated version of WolfOnline if it is available? | |

| No beta as of yet, since for a beta, there needs to be at least some content. Working out the map right now so the pack system can be fully implemented. Today I went ahead and converted some midis into a more suitable format for unity.. <Doesn't actually sound as bad as I thought it would>
What we have at this time: - One (of three) half-finished map. Large one. - Fully working main-menu (and sub-menues) - 40 Wolf textures - 28 midi-generated music tracks - Working pack-system - Seasons - Weather - Ambience (as in background sounds) - A new cougar mesh and probably lots of work updating the others to match the style but well, wolves with details look better than nearly round meshes.. (still better than the prototypes)
It was a loooong way to go to get here. Involved learning the engine for me, polishing their pretty awesome skills for the other team members, too. Plans? Putting the game on steam once it's finished.

| Wow, 40 wolf textures! that's amazing! I bet WolfOnline will be really popular when it's finished and published on steam. | |

| I sure hope so Even if we still haven't solved how to do the AI part on multiplayer. Prey and predators and stuff.. making them client sided doesn't really cut it I'm afraid. It'd end in a mess. | |
