| I found out a simple way to get sound in WOLF (not music, since you already have that) if you can't open the file like me. I put it in steps to make this easier. XP
1.) Open WOLF like you normally would.
2.) Now that you're on the menu, press Exit WOLF.
3.) Type in ----> setup
4.) Press enter on 'Sound Source'
5.) Press enter on 'Sound Blaster Pro OPL3' (It should be the one that's already highlighted)
6.) Press enter on 'Save - Use the selected setup'
7.) Done! Enjoy the sound! | |

| Does anyone know if you can adjust the volume of the sound effects? I fixed it so that the music does not play (as that is also really loud) I want to keep the sound effects but if possible adjust the volume lower. Seems they are very loud no matter what I have my speaker volume set to. | |

| Sorry, I don't think it's possible. It's hard enough to get sounds, I don't want to attempt anything else. XD I just got used to the extremely loud sounds and kept my volume to the point where my ears could just about stand it. X3
Again, sorry. | |

| Do you know if it works with windows 8.1? I was able to get sound on my old XP laptop, but now since I have a new computer the sound wont work even after following these instructions. :/ | |

| Windows 8 is a bitch anyway. Sorry to hear sounds don't work for you. Hm.. So you tried to set the sound options to different variants? Might work better than "Sound Source" or such.. | |

| Ohh! I figured it out again! I had to set both sound source and sound blaster to OPL3. I had only changed the settings in the sound blaster part of the menu. | |
